The chicken pop stickers were the only good thing here. The fried rice tasted so bad I don t think I could give it to my dog. I looked over and the cook was falling asleep in a chair. While one of the severs couldn t even answer a simple question about the menu so she just guess and was wrong about it. Do not waste your time money or health and stay away from here.

Been a long time fan of Bowl and Chopstix but we got 3 kids meals, 1 chicken lo mein, 1 chicken fried rice, 1 General Tso Chicken and it was all pretty awful. Noodles were dry as could be, so was the rice. The chicken was stringy and disappointing in flavors. The crab Rangoon literally had no crab in it at all. Very rarely have we had a bad meal from here but last night was very disappointing. Willing to give another try and hoping it was an off night but for the cost since their prices went up I do expect it to be good.

Its a small hole-in-the-wall place that does a busy takeout business, but they have a dozen tables. Its a family operation with Mom manning the register and serving, but sometimes youll get one of the 2 daughters. The food is good, served hot and fresh. Food

I requested a dish with no peanuts, crushed whole or oil and took a bite and it was full of peanuts. I called back and she reassured me there were no peanuts of any form. But my Epi Pen says she lied. She replaced the meal but now I m sick and don t want to eat. I will never eat here again. The food quality has suffered over the last few years and has only become more expensive. I have enjoyed supporting this business over the years and never had a problem with them fixing food as requested without peanuts. But no more!

When I tell you I m picky about my Chinese food. IM PICKY. This place always hits the spot. I always get the sweet and sour chicken and it hits the spot every time. All of the foods actually are incredible. You get a lot of bang for your buck coming here with the big potions. Service is great as well.

The young girl that took my payment at counter insulted my phone because she was holding the payment machine so close to her my tap to pay was not working. She said well everyone has I phones it must be your phone. I had to inform her my phone was the new Samsung ultra 24 I paid 1500 for it and iphone pays Samsung for some of their technology. She had tried to take my phone from my hand instead I grabbed the payment machine and well what do you know it went threw. I will not be back 45 bucks for 3 plates no sauce in our bags at all and to be insulted by that girl is not acceptable. I will spend my money elsewhere where they include egg rolls with your meal and foutune cookies. Literally didnt get any of that. At best these fried rices meals 10 each max not 45 bucks.

Very plain tasting food, with very little flavor. I had Jalapeno Chicken, with the food having little flavor, and the Jalapenos were mild at the most, which came with fried rice, which was only steam rice and soy sauce, nothing else. My wife had seafood combination that was okay, she told them no imitation crab. We order fried scallops appetizer, which was really made of imitation crab, LOL... The best thing that I can say about them is their prices are reasonable. My first and last visit to this place.

Absolute gem! You was in the door to a friendly greeting which is paramount. A welcomed sight is, the pictures of their food match the food you actually get. In fact, my bowl was over flowing, which was awesome! So glad I found this place and I will be back. The added items they offer as part of the lunch special is perfect. Ordered through Uber eats. The chicken noodle soup was outstanding, the Kung pow chicken was decent. The chicken eggroll was inedible. I will definitely be back for the chicken noodle soup and will try some other items as well.

My husband wanted to have Chinese Food for dinner last night. Usually we would go to a restaurant on Legacy. But we decided to try a new to us restaurant. So glad we did! He ordered the Moo Goo Gai Pan and i had the Yellow Curry with Chicken. We also each had a Vegetable Egg Roll. The Egg Roll was a very nice size! Larger than at other restaurants. His meal had broccoli that was not only a beautiful shade of green. But it was cooked perfectly! I tasted it and it was delicious! My Curry was just what I had hoped for! My husband tried it and said that it reminded him of the Curry back home. (England). I could have eaten the entire plate, and would have if my husband wasnt there lol. But since i didnt, I have just enough leftover for my lunch today. Yes, we will be back!

First time here after seeing a lot of good reviews. It was delicious! Will definitely come back again. The staff were very friendly, and the food was ready pretty quickly. I had moo goo gai pan, and DW had curry chicken. The curry chicken tasted a little like I used to have in the UK, so it was a pleasant surprise. I noted the broccoli was a nice healthy green, crunchy and flavorful. Other places seem to have more like a light greenish attempt. This place is a bit of a hidden gem, being close to a busy intersection, so not sure how busy it gets. We went on a Thursday early evening, and we were the only people in there except for 3 take out orders. If you like Chinese food, check this place out. Its priced very reasonable also.

First time visiting. Great portion sizes and friendly service. Unfortunately, I have no more positive feedback. Noodles were mushy and filled with other fillings (almost as much filling as noodle), chicken was saucy but tasteless, same for the rice, and the egg roll just had a weird maybe old taste.

I wish the extra brown sauce I asked for was there it was really good I ordered chicken lo mien no veggies extra brown sauce the chicken was very tender the noodle was great if it had the extra brown sauce it would have been perfect next time Ill ask for extra on the side Parking: I have a larger truck and all the spot near the entrance was for shorter or mid size cars I had to park on the other end my truck takes two spots long in most places 4d f350 long bed Wheelchair accessibility: As I was walking up in I helped a lady in a wheelchair go in the shop next door and when I was leaving I held the door for her to go in the restaurant the ramp was right in front of the restaurant door it could have had an extra foot or two longer so it could have been easier for her to get up but im not in a chair so i dont know if that would make it easier or not but she had just got to the top of the ramp when I ran up to help and had made it up top on her own

I used to order a lot from this place. Now whenever I order, I am disappointed. The food Quality is getting poor and today I dont even feel like eating the food I ordered. Its so important to maintain quality when you get good name. The Mongolian chicken has so many onions, I was trying to find chicken pieces in it. Lo mein noodles are so bad. I am so not happy.

At this writing, we are 3 years into this Covid-19 thing and I am still finding it hard to dine in at certain local restaurants. While in Allen recently, a friend and I happened upon the Bowl and Chopstix restaurant. We tried eating at a Thai place around the corner but it was take-out only. Being from Lakewood district, we were not going to eat in the car. Luckily for us, Bowl & Chopstix said, Pandemic? We dont need no stinking pandemic. The Orange Chicken was great and my buddy enjoyed his Jalapeño Beef dish. The portions were hearty and the entrées tasty. My only qualm with it was their fried rice wasnt very good. I like it when there is pieces of egg in the rice and it was sadly missing. The atmosphere is authentic with relaxing music playing and the decor was quaint. Even the restrooms get a thumbs-up for cleanliness. The Hot and Sour soup is really fresh and good also. If you are in Allen and want good Chinese for not too many clams, I recommend B&C.

Unsanitary! DO NOT ORDER from here. Ordered online, went to pick up my order. They gave my order to someone else. Instead of making a new order they called the other order to tell them to bring my food back. I asked them to make me a new order and their response was it s on its way back only a couple minutes. They did not try to make things right instead they got angry because I would not accept the food someone had already handled!
