Great place for brunch on a Sunday, had a young gentleman playing the piano which created a nice ambience. Eggs benny was good, the skillet (one was Mexican the other I forget) both really good.

We waited for 20 minutes for a server to greet us or take a drink order. No one came by. All the waitresses were in the back hanging out. So unfortunately we left. They did have an initial wait but I didn t feel like it warranted us being completely ignored. We were passed by several times. Very disappointing.

This was my first time having such delicious chicken & waffles! The apple&kale juice tasted so fresh, The service was excellent, everyone was friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. I came with a friend, but I m definitely bringing my husband next time! The kids menu was reasonably priced and had pretty decent options. The croffle was incredibly delicious:) definitely a must-try! Kid-friendliness: My friend and I had kids with us, but the space was so spacious that we didn t feel cramped or like we were bothering anyone. They provided high chairs, kids forks, and cups with lids, which was really thoughtful. It s definitely a kid-friendly place, so bringing little ones wouldn t be a hassle.

First time in with family. (1) I ordered a mexican skillet with the option of country potatoes. It arrived with deep fried potatoes. I complained to the server but said I had lost my appetite and didnt want anything else. During check out, the cost of it was still there. I paid because I wanted to leave but make sure to never return.

Excellent service! The croffle sandwich was just a little bland but other than that the texture was great. More seasoning maybe? We had the kid breakfast which was huge, 2 croffle sandwiches and then a chicken fried steak. The steak should have been tenderized and pounded waaaay more than it was, but the flavor was delicious. We loved the live piano music and service was top notch! We also had a lemonade mimosa and a blueberry mimosa, and both were great.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Talia s Café, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. I ordered the Very Berry Pancakes and the Strawberry & Banana French Toast, both of which were absolutely amazing. The pancakes were fluffy and generously topped with a variety of fresh berries that provided a perfect balance of sweetness and tartness. The French toast was equally delightful, with the strawberries and bananas adding a delicious, fruity twist to a classic dish. The staff at Talia s Café were incredibly friendly and attentive, making me feel welcome from the moment I walked in. Their warm hospitality added to the overall enjoyment of my meal. The atmosphere of the café is another highlight. It s cozy and inviting, with a charming decor that makes you feel right at home. The live piano music was a wonderful touch, creating a relaxing and pleasant ambiance that enhanced the dining experience. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for great food, friendly service, and a wonderful atmosphere. I ll definitely be returning soon!

I had a lovely brunch here, trying both the omelet and the traditional breakfast. Although biscuits and gravy werent on the menu, the waitress kindly brought them out for me. The orange juice was incredibly fresh, and I later learned it was squeezed on the spot. They also play the piano, which enhances the mood.

I ve been here twice and although service is slow, it s not terrible. I don t know what the point of posting videos and pictures of food on your IG page is, if it s seasonal or you don t carry it or it s seasonal . I left my house and dragged my husband with me because we saw something on their IG page from January and we got there and the lady says she thinks it s seasonal, she s new, she doesn t think they have it because she s never seen it. She didn t try to go ask or anything so my husband ate while I sat there because that was the only reason I came. It seems silly but I grew more irritated every moment I sat there. I definitely will not be back.

Blueberry mimosa is delicious. I normally make my mimosas at home with fresh berries. Its nice that someone else has the same mindset. 4. I personally like it when I can see the chefs cooking, so this is a plus for me. I have chefs in my family and friends who are chefs. You cannot see them completely, however its an open kitchen. This restaurant is beautifully decorated and very inviting! Went for a late breakfast/early lunch, weekday, we were the only table in the place. The food was delicious. The reason I m giving two stars is because who runs the kitchen? We both ordered, they brought my plate immediately, and when I asked where my son s plate was, the waitress told me she was sorry, but mine was ready and his wasn t. She went on to explain that some things take longer to cook than others. Interesting. So when I finished my breakfast, my son s came out. I wouldn t go back simply because of this. I expect that with sushi, not with breakfast. Maybe a little less on decor and a little more on proper kitchen staff?

Absolutely delicious place to get a hearty, healthy, and/or indulgent breakfast, brunch, or lunch. The food comes SO quickly and the quality is excellent. Plenty of unique and classic dishes offering something for everyone, including those with dietary restrictions. We sampled the Reuben sandwich and found it to be first rate! The croffle is a croissant dough cooked in a waffle iron and the result is a crispy waffle that is so good! The avocado toast is loaded with fresh avocado with red onion and greens on a toast that gives the right amount of crunch, it s very filling. The peach and strawberry mimosas are also super fabulous!! Parking: Plenty of spots to park for free Kid-friendliness: Kid menus are super cute with games and coloring for the kids. Finally had a chance to stop in and try Talias for breakfast foods. We were greeted at the door immediately and were able to be seated immediately as well. Our server, Logan, was attentive the entire time. I felt like they had some different food and drink options compared to some other neighborhood brunchy cafes. I personally ordered the Biscuits and Sausage Gravy platter and just drank water (although the drink options sounded fantastic!). My only complaint is that there was no sausage in the sausage gravy - not even a taste of sausage. Im a country girl - I need some sausage in the gravy!! Side complaint, the biscuits and gravy were on my scrambled eggs - Im not a fan of gravy on my eggs. The scrambled eggs were good. The applewood smoke bacon was SO GOOD - I asked for it well done - it was perfect!! The country fries were a great choice too (those are cubed potatoes that are pan fried). My daughter ordered the oatmeal and a side of white toast - she seemed to be pleased with her food. The cafe is an open concept - it has booths, tables, and larger tables great for families. I look forward to coming back and trying out some other options! Parking: On a Saturday around 12.45pm - the parking lot immediately in front of Talias was packed. I dont know if that was all Talia customers or a combination of other tenants. We parked at the next section and walked over.

Slow and poor customer service. Waited 15 min in seat before we were served water. The table behind us even got served water first. Then another 15 min past before it was our turn to order. (The server skipped us and served the table that came after us first.) Waited another 20 min before our food arrived at the table. While we were half way through the brunch, we were presented with the check . I ordered a Tuscan omelette with biscuit and hash brown on the side - omelette was nothing special, and hash brown was no longer warm and was soggy, not crispy. Like other reviews had mentioned about loud kitchen, we kept hearing constant shouting/yelling from the kitchen when we were seated in the furthers corner from kitchen. From my experience, I probably would not go back here again, although if I did I would try something else. We picked up some breakfast from here, our first time at Talia s. We got the strawberry and banana croffle as well as the meat waffle, and a cup of coffee. The coffee was surprisingly good, but because it s a restaurant I d hope that the food would match. Unfortunately the croffle soaked in whatever poison it could from the styrofoam. I highly recommend the staff either wait for the food to cool or find another type of packaging that won t melt into the food. The croffle itself tasted okay. Accurate in that it tastes like a croissant in waffle form. The meat waffle was pretty dry but had all the breakfast meats in it. It wasn t great either. Overall I was a bit bummed. Would have been a 2 if not for the coffee. Probably won t return but who knows, maybe I ll feel more open to giving it a chance once I forgot about the taste currently in my mouth.

Our server could have refilled our drinks but overall we had a great experience. Update: We have been here several more times and there is nothing weve had that wasnt outstanding. I was there last weekend. Its a huge place. The food is wonderful, the service is awesome. and there was a piano player on this date. Nce touch! Some staff members are bi-lingual English/Spanish. They close mid-day. You can get breakfast until they close. The portions are big. I recommend Talias Cafe to everyone. Kid-friendliness: Fa.ily friendly. They have high chairs.

Talias is a local restaurant that has quite a few selections if youre coming in with a group that has broad tastes. While the food doesnt stand out, they offer fairly good breakfast options and are one of the few restaurants with selections that involve eggs. If you live near the restaurant or commute near it, its worth visiting.

Good quality waffle. We tried strawberry and banana the one with Nutella and wipe cream. All were very good, crunchy and melting inside mouth. Best is to consume sitting there immediately after they prepare to enjoy the proper taste. prices were reasonable as well they have in the weekend live piano play they specialty in waffle and Croffle i did not like the way the treated or the services in general the place was fairly empty only few table full and despite that , they place us in the last table next to the kitchen which is very noise because it is open concept . we asked to change the table and we have been ignored and another waitress came and we asked the same thing so we grab our menu and water and just did any way i do not know how it will be in the weekend because the place was really noise and i can hear echo sounds all over.

Went here for the first time today. The place is extremely loud, especially with the piano. The food is very expensive for what it is, I ordered the $15 spicy grilled chicken sandwich. The chicken was thin and tough, two slices of tomato, and a slice of lettuce. Hot chocolate was almost $5 which is surprising since it tasted like it was made from a packet. Fries were good & crispy though. Water was tap and kind of burned my throat to drink. The walls were also pretty dirty for a place that just opened. Lots of food stains on the baseboards and pen marks scribbled on the wall. All in all, I don t think we ll be coming back here.

Went for the first time today and the place is cute but that s all they have going for them. The server was okay but then she disappeared and was replaced but someone friendlier at least. My friend and I got nutella and banana waffles which was good. I ordered a side of turkey bacon and they gave me one strip for $3.75. The server mentioned how two strips would be $6.75. I can get a pack at the store for $4. My friend ordered a side of hash browns and it tasted like old oil. At the end I think it was the owner who took our card to pay and gave us the receipt. She didn t say one word or even smiled at us. Will not return and do not recommend.

I popped into Talias after seeing a Tiktok praising its atmosphere and the croffles. At first blush, the live piano is a really nice aesthetic touch, classing things up! There are high ceilings and when crowded, the conversations and piano seem to battle each other. I dont know what I was expecting with the croffles. The concept sounded good: a croissant / waffle combination. There are multiple flavors offered so I had hoped for some infusion of those flavors. Instead, the croffles are just a croissant thats been cooked (again) in a waffle iron, and then topped with powdered sugar, fruit or cheese. Service was OK. Again the noise made it difficult to hear the server. At the end of the day, Talias was OK, but didnt leave me feeling compelled to come back.

Had brunch today with my wife and her parents. Took a bit of time to get my coffee, but our server found raw sugar for me, as I requested, thus the wait. I appreciated his taking time to get me what I wanted. We order our meals (from a different server??), three in total, as the ladies were sharing one entree. We ordered the Froffle, a croffle with scrambled eggs and bacon, and a Southwest skillet with NO JALAPENOS for the ladies to share. The froffle arrived first, then my croffle, eggs and bacon about 10-15 minutes later......then the ladies skillet about 15 minutes after that. We had finished our food by the time the ladies received theirs. The skillet had jalapenos, and the ladies did not want to wait another 15-20 minutes for a new one. Our server did his best. The kitchen was obviously a wreck, and there was no managerial presence on the floor. The restaurant was about half full, maybe a little more. We were not charged for the skillet, and our server apologized for the experience, but not once did a manager/owner address the poor timing of the food.

I love to go and try different brunch places. I was looking to try something new for mommy and me date with my daughter. I decided to give this Place a try and I am glad I did. The place has really cute vibe, beautiful ambience, great selection of food,( they also have GF items) I loved their Croffles. Prices are very reasonable too. Our server Natalie was so sweet and did great job in making sure we have everything we need like condiments , refilling coffee etc. They did charge me for extra coffee by mistake but the owner immediately apologized and took care of it.We are Definitely coming back. Update: I went to this place 3 more time after I gave them this review. Every time I felt like their service and food quality going down. This one time We had both of our kids with us, a baby and a toddler. We had to wait an entire hour to get our food. They took our order and forgot to get us the food. After about 45 minutes, one of the server came and put a bill on our table. We were not served any food but they gave us bill already. What a terrible service!! When I shared all this with store manager/ owner, she was offering me 20% discount. I would be fine if it would b only me and my husband but my kids had to wait and they were hungry, crying. I am sorry I gave you 3 chances but you have failed every time!! I am never going back to them.

I m sorry but this is the worst breakfast food I have ever tasted. All of the food has no seasoning whatsoever! The bacon tasted like dog food, the pancakes were burnt, my egg whites were drowned in oil, the fruit serving was enough for a baby, the regular eggs had no seasoning, potatoes had no seasoning. I wasted my money on about $40 worth of food for only 2 people. You d be better off going to First Watch or Starwood Cafe.

Giving some grace here because it was Mothers Day but that should have been all the more reason to ensure the team was prepared 0 stars for overall experience, 2 stars because the food could have been good I will start with the check in process. We were a party of 4 (pretty average) and we were advised of a 30 minute wait (not bad at all for Mothers Day). This was problem number one (which I should have picked up on by the others waiting around). The host wrote something down but it was not my name or phone number (which is usually a standard to keep track of who is who in line) - I even asked specifically if they needed my name and that was a no, I have you down already Fast forward 20 minutes this is of course earlier than the advised 30 minutes but I wanted to check in because I was a bit concerned on how we would be able to be called for seating when again no name or number was taken Adding on another 20 minutes past the 30 I expected to wait there were several parties coming in just as concerned with how they were going to be seated having arrived before and after us without their name or contact having been taken We were eventually seated after needing to call out the elapsed time and chatting among other parties to figure out approximately how much longer we would need to wait vs what was advised when we had checked in again, understanding it is a holiday waiting a little longer is no problem but clearly there is an organizational issue if everyone that checks in is waiting longer than anticipated and as a host you are unable to advise on any updated time estimates for anyone Getting into the seated experience This took a while which again Holiday, I get it but when waiting guest we re being told that the extend wait times were due to ensuring a waiter was available We waited an additional 20 minutes for the waiter to come just to introduce themselves and bring water keeping with the trend here, entrees were also long waits to the point where the forgotten item(s) were cancelled. Adding to the waits- when we got our food we did not have any silverware to eat so an additional wait here. When we were finally brought the silverware it was straight out of the washer (wet and not checked for cleanliness) Forgetting everything else - was the food good? No but I think it could have been Everything came out barely warm Hash-browns are hard to mess up but at arrival (even without silverware) they were barely hanging on. The croffles I think could have been good but they were not presented well at all I never order eggs from restaurants just because the idea makes my stomach hurt but my mother took that chance and those too were not fresh I would like to give this place a second chance in the future but something has to be done in how they organize to ensure they can meet or exceed expectations

What a terrible experience. My wife and I used to come here a lot when they first opened. The prices have risen quite a lot, which is fine, they have everywhere, but for the amount and quality of the food it s not worth it. When we received our food my wife s french toast was burned and there was hair in my skillet. We notified our waiter and he immediately offered to take it off our bill, but when the check came it was still included, along with three items we did not order. Needless to say we will not be returning.

I love that they have a variety of proteins to choose from on sides . French fries where cooked to perfection. Please try the craffle (waffle/croissant) it was fluffy and crispy.

The good: Service was good and staff was very nice. Thats about as far as the stars go. The bad: The decor and ambiance is very...busy which was the first flag. Menus are very rigid unpleasant to use. Both glasses of water had food floating in them which the waiter very promptly apologized and got fresh glasses. The caramel croffle was chewy in the middle and could tell wasnt cooked all the way through. I ordered eggs Benedict with a side of hash browns. The hollandaise sauce was broken and not pleasant to eat. Flavor was good though. The 2 pieces of ham were very thin and the English muffin also followed suit. Hash browns were soggy and absolutely underseasoned. Ironically the receipt even said not seasoned they also charged $6 for the free mimosa with a glass of OJ and an entree. My girlfriend got the spicy chicken waffles which was good but nothing to go head over heals about. If Im gonna pay $15+ for food it should be better than what I can make at home.

Walking through the reflective glass doors of Talias Cafe, you are immediately transported to what seems like a regal tea house along the streets of London. Lined with navy blue covered booth seats and carefully arranged bouquet of vibrantly colored flowers, each table is decorated with a golden encased candle dancing to the jazz music in the background. It is radiantly lit with dazzling chandeliers and lofty pendant light fixtures creating a warm and pleasing atmosphere. On the first whiff, you are greeted with the aroma of freshly brewed coffee interfusing with subtle hints of crispy applewood bacon and a minute accent of peppery sausage patties, not overbearing of course... just enough of the ever-so-welcoming scent to tingle the senses and perk you up for a scrumptious dining experience. You wouldnt need to linger long because a lovely waitress (in my case, it was the lovely Mary-Anne) strides up to the front desk with the widest smile to greet you ever so kindly and show you to your seat. You are then presented with an expansive array of choices for food. You sit there, for a moment, spoilt for choice but you pick one knowing that you are going to love whatever you chose because the smells emitting from the kitchen dont lie. In my case, I settled for the chicken fried steak with a side of fries and an egg over easy (I didnt pick a bread and did away with one egg as I knew I couldnt finish but if you must know, the meal comes with 2 eggs, a type of bread, a side and of course the steak). I ordered a steaming hot cup of coffee on the side as well because I couldnt resist the scent of freshly brewed coffee. Not more than 10mins after the order, I was presented my breakfast. The chicken fried steak was fried to perfection - a light but crunchy coat with a touch of seasoning enveloping a thinly slice of succulent beef. On one side a faultlessly cooked egg over easy prompting your fork to playfully bounce on it. On the other, piping hot freshly fried crispy fries - soft potato goodness coated in a slender savory crusty batter. The gravy was thick, creamy but light; harmoniously gathering the entire dish to create an explosion of flavors and texture in the mouth. Each bite was divine. Throughout the meal, I was offered coffee top-ups and if I had any other wants. I didnt have any of course but Im sure, some of my lovely readers, would like to know they can take them up on some of those instead of having to scour for attention to get assistance like some other places. I left feeling extremely satisfied and thoroughly delighted that I chose Talias Cafe for brunch. I highly recommend it and hope you guys enjoy it as much as I did.
