My mom has lived at The Heritage since the beginning of January. When she was living with us, she wasn t around friends her age and I certainly wasn t able to keep her busy. That has changed since she moved to The Heritage. Whenever I go to visit, Mom is out in the common area with other residents playing games or doing crafts. Once a week, Suzie and Shambricka take them on an outing for a nice change. They ve recently gone to the aquarium and the arboretum. Mom definitely has a more full and interesting life than I was able to provide for her. Suzie and Shambricka are always upbeat and have so many things planned for the residents. They send me pictures and post pictures on Facebook daily. It s wonderful to see all the fun things Mom is up to! I do feel that Mom is well cared for here, but it is the social interaction that makes this place special. I always feel welcome when I come visit and there are monthly gatherings for the family which are fun for everyone!

The Heritage is a great place for seniors who need assistance in their daily lives. My parents have been residents since January and love it. The entire team there are excellent! Special recognition to Peter and Suzie for their dedication to the quality of living, engagement, and care of residents. I highly recommend this place for those couples/individuals who require this level of care.

We moved my mother here after she fell and broke her hip while living independently. It was clear she would need more help and we are so glad we found Heritage! The staff genuinely care about the residents, and they really communicate well with the family. I travel a LOT and I have never had a problem getting an answer or an update (or a picture!) of my mom. They provide loads of activities, outings and engagement for her and she is doing even better than she was while living independently. She gets social as well as physical and mental engagement, and it has been so good for all of us.

Our mom has been a resident at the Assisted Living community for 15 months. The experience has been first class from the first meeting/tour through today. The staff, a term which does little justice to the caring and helpful folks that make life better for our family, has been a blessing. They take a keen interest in ensuring the best experience possible for the residents and families. A look at the monthly schedule tells a little bit of the story. There are activity options for all, every day. Monthly, or more, family gatherings for Happier Hours or holidays, quality entertainment and several field trips, to name few. For those who don t live as close as we do, there are Facebook postings for family and friends. A quick scan will show many smiling faces! We are all very pleased with everything about The Heritage at Twin Creeks! We would have given six stars if that were an option

My mother moved into assisted living at The Heritage In May 2021. Throughout her time there, she has received wonderful care and friendship from the staff. She has been treated as family by all. The facility is top notch and its size is small enough that the residents are not overwhelmed. Recently Moms memory problems have worsened and we decided to move her into the Memory Care wing. The transition has been very good for Mom (and me!). Thanks Peter, Suzi and Judy for your guidance and help. Moving a loved one into an assistance facility cand be a very stressful situation. I cannot emphasize he grateful my family and I are to them for their care and kindness. I highly recommend The Heritage. Steve Grice ps Mom will be 99 this year!

The staff and management at Heritage at TwiCreeks is outstanding. My mother has been a Traditions resident for about 3 months. The care and attention the staff shows thier clients is miles beyond the other places my mother has been a resident at. The activities director and staff are amazing. They have my mom doing things she hasnt done in years. From top to bottom, a first class staff, all with the same goal in mind....taking exceptional care of the residents and making them feel welcome and loved. Thank you Peter and crew, you guys are great!

If you love your loved one, do NOT place them here! In the four years Ive been associated with this facility they have gone through numerous executive directors and numerous directors of resident care. The food quality is awful. They have high staff turnover. Youd be hard pressed to find anyone that has worked there for more than a few months. Their caregivers do not care. In fact, neglect is their motto! Their button alert response time is horrid! Our loved one has called at all hours of the night crying because no one has come to help. Theyve even left them in their wheelchair all night because they forgot to get them in bed. There have also been times where they werent bathed for two weeks. Their housekeeping is nonexistent. The caregivers will just leave feces smeared on the toilet. They will gladly up the rent for a higher level of care, but consistently not provide even the bare minimum care. Despite repeated complaints nothing has changed.

The staff at Heritage at Twin Creeks is truly inspiring as they are genuinely so happy to be there and striving to help their residents as much as possible. The residents are lovely and it s nice that there is a good balance of both men and women. The community is clean and offers fun social activities everyday, and the food that the chef and his team prepare is so good! Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a happy, comfy, and safe place for their loved one(s).

My mother has been here for a year and it has been a blessing for our whole family. From the beginning, Paula and Suzie have been wonderful to us in our concern to locate just the right place for her. With COVID, a grim, scary reality, the staff rose to the special demands on all of them. Mary, the ray-of-sunshine concierge, told me that being there is a calling for her. April and Alicia, as well as other caregivers, are in communication with us and responsive to her needs and our requests. FaceTime set up by office staff is our important contact. Both April and Alicia have initiated sessions when either Mother or I asked. Scheduled daily activities provide stimulus and fun.... Haircuts and manicures... The loving hugs from Paula, bus trips with Suzie and April to Starbucks, Dairy Queen, Braum s- the photos, which I share with family all over the US! Special caregivers-the best reason to appreciate Heritage!

I am a resident at the Heritage (for three years now) and we have the best staff in town! The workers are like family to us and we like to cut up and have FUN! The food is really good and they have wonderful desserts which I really like. There is always something going on and we all have a good time together. I would highly recommend the Heritage at Twin Creeks to anyone.

My dad moved into the Heritage at Twin Creeks in April 2019 around the same time that Paula West-Hicks became the Executive Director of the facility. Paula has been an advocate for my dad since he moved in and I think shes done a fabulous job dealing with the Covid-19 restrictions regarding visitations. Paula and Suzie Powell ( Social Director) came up with a creative idea of how we could visit our loved ones in front of the building and not risk infection. My dad was on the enclosed patio behind a stone wall, and I could visit him from the other side of the stone wall. I can book a one hour visitation time. Paula has kept all residents safe from Covid-19. These visitations are so important to me to be able to see my dad during these quarantined times! The executive staff and the Med Techs will make sure your loved one is well taken care of at the Heritage! Hopefully in the near future we can get back to visitations inside the building and the fun social events that Suzie plans for the residents every week!

My dad has been living in the Assisted Living facility for a little over 2 years. He is very happy here. The activities program is AMAZING - lots of variety and very creative ways to keep my dad involved. The staff is caring and helpful, but sometimes they seem a little overworked and stressed. At first, there was alot of turnover with the executive staff, but I hope corporate has made any necessary changes that will encourage the current Executive staff to stick around, they are making a positive impact to the community. They take the time to address my concerns and when my dad has concerns they treat him with respect and dignity. This is a happy, joyful place and you will not regret the decision to move your loved one into this facility.

My mother has been in the Assisted Living section of Heritage for 1 1/2 years now. She has blossomed so much since being there. When she first arrived she was very withdrawn and depressed. She has made a complete 180 since she arrived. Suzy Powell, the activities coordinator, goes out of her way to make everyone part of the group. She takes them all over the place and then sends me pictures of my mom while they are out. She is amazing! The nurses are awesome too. Gerald always greets my mom with a big smile and a How you doing? This place is a God send for my family. I thank Paul Markowitz every day for referring me here too. Kudos to Heritage at Twin Creeks!

Visit this place with your eyes WIDE OPEN, folks. Management and owners should truthfully say what they mean and mean what they say! FYI, folks: ED is on the way out any day now. No top down health care plan or supervision. Resident Care Director out last week. Any reviews submitted by Amy Hoster (see below) should be viewed with scepticism since she is a corporate marketing employee for Surpass, owner and operator of Heritage Twin Creeks. This is a perilous place for Memory Care residents.

My Mom lives there and the staff are very nice to her and she likes it there, but I do have to say something about the food there. I visited my Mom and had dinner with her one day, they served her a BBQ brisket sandwich, they put so much sauce on the sandwich that she couldnt eat it. I told the server and she just took the sandwich away and would not give her another one. Often time, if she doesnt like the food, she would just go away hungry. I wish they would offer her something else.

The Heritage at Twin Creeks has been a Godsend for our family. Our mom has been in Traditions (memory care) for two years next month. The biggest draws for me and my two sisters were the staff - felt like family from the moment we first visited, and second, memory care is not a dark hallway where you feel like your loved one is just put away and forgotten like in so many other facilities. The Traditions building is beautiful and spacious with several group areas, a great outdoor patio and gardens and extra large bedrooms and spa-like bathrooms. Yes, there have been a lot of upper management changes, and yet, those changes have been more difficult for us than for her and only for us because we then need/want to get to know the new folks. However, the staff who care for our mother care deeply. We believe she is safe, secure, loved, looked after, clean, well fed, and provided activities inside and outside and outings in the van with Suzie - who goes above and beyond to send me pics of mom, since Im not on Facebook. When issues arise of concern to us, because we all know nothing is perfect, we know we can reach out and it will be addressed and fixed. Period. Maybe because we have taken the time to build relationships with as many of the staff that we possibly can? I dont know, but I do believe its a partnership. Yes, we pay for their services, but its also our loved one, so we are in this together. I would fill up this page if I named all the amazing ladies and how theyve helped us and our mom - from laughing with us when we want to cry to cleaning up messes while were visiting, because we just dont have the incredible care giving gifts they have - thank you, ladies! Sorry for my lengthy post, but knowing what a hard decision it is to make to select a place to care for your loved one, I believe you have to hear from folks who have experience with the facility. Our family would choose The Heritage again and when we see folks coming to check it out, we tell them the same thing being written here. We LOVE The Heritage at Twin Creeks - the grounds, the building, etc., but most of all the wonderful ladies who take such good care of our mom! THANK YOU, ladies, from the bottom of our hearts! My parents live in the memory care portion of this facility and I used to love it, but the decline in aesthetics and care has been horrible since major management staffing changes! Ive written numerous emails, called different people, contacted corporate and talked to management in person more times than I can count and nothing seems to change or get corrected. My parents deserve better care than they are receiving now, but their doctor doesnt recommend moving them again because of their physical and mental states (stroke and dementia). So, Im trying to keep a closer watch on them, which I shouldnt have to do for the amount of money my parents are spending!!

We are very dissatisfied with Heritage at Twin Creeks. The staff has been dishonest right from the beginning. The food is only acceptable, with the portion sizes too small. The latest: My husband went to visit his mom Jan 18 and was not allowed in. There was a sign on the door NO VISITORS ALLOWED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE. The staff has behaved very unprofessional, resulting in a lot of suspicion. Their explanation was some were experiencing flu like symptoms. My husband called today, Sunday, January 21, saying he was coming over to see his mom. They finally allowed him to see her to make sure she was OK. They told him he would have to wear a mask. Why wasnt this an option before now? We felt as if the home was holding my mother-in-law hostage. This facility is sub par. The nurses do seem to be kind and friendly. These are the only staff I would recommend. Recently there have been many residents moving, leaving a lot of vacancies. This is understandable!

There are many amenities through-out the facility. This facility epitomizes what an assisted living center should be.

I have been calling for 2 days trying to wish my mother in law a happy birthday! When I was there last year for her birthday, I mean skeleton crew. Like the other review we meandered around looking for help and got none. This review is not on the care that they give there as I am not there enough to give that. We will be choosing them after their house sells.
