The food was mid. The ramen we had ordered was good but everything else was mid. We sat at the bar and the bartender had an attitude like she didn t want to take our order. She was not attentive at all. The only interaction we had was when she took our order and when it was time to pay. We had to get her attention to get her check. Its really dark with only red lights. I went after the dark and the lack of light hurt my eyes. Also the loud music played would distract from any intimacy if you would on a date. I am not sure who their audience is other than girls night out. I got a sashimi bowl. The fish was fresh, the rice was cheap. For $35 dont cheap out on the most important part, the sushi(which is a type of rice) The service was good, but I was never asked if I was good. I would have requested a table where I could see better.

My guy and I have went to this chain every year for our birthday and half birthday but have never experienced what we did tonight. Our waitress didnt attend to our needs or wants during our visit. We waited for an hour on the bill because they didnt understand that we were applying the special that the company sends out to celebrate customer birthdays. If they were having a hard time understanding, they couldve communicated that to us. We watched the waitress serve other tables and still was ignoring us. The food came out lukewarm and some dishes were cold. I felt disrespected and invisible. We will never go to this location again.

Avoid this place! Server Jasmine brought edamame to me and told me its on the house, I did not even ask for it. When she brought my check, sure enough, she charged me over $7 for it, thinking that I wouldnt catch it. When I confronted her about it, she said that her manager Michael forgot to take that off. I tipped her anyway, even though she did not deserve it. The New York Strip Steak that I ordered was awful and full of fat. Money wasted, lessons learned.

This restaurant is Amazing, I previously visited the Plano, Texas location on past Monday and got the worst service, food was horrible!! A Manager name Jewel was at this Location helping out and I expressed to her my concerns and she listened and advised to visit the Addison location. I do not eat fish but found many amazing options, even sushi rolls including chicken and filet minion. (Can t recommend the Ra wesome roll enough!) This is my favorite sushi spot so far in Dallas! Always excellent, friendly and prompt service. The atmosphere is spunky, luxury like (great for friends, group, date night). Some booths are small but its okay because you gain some privacy. The sushi has always been good, quality, and unique! Plenty of options to choose from and they seem to occasionally have new, seasonal menu items. Great happy hour options/prices. In general its a bit pricey, but I wouldnt say high compared to the quality and prices elsewhere. Even the dishes I wouldnt order again (the crazy monkey roll) was excellent! It just didnt have the crunch I prefer personally in my sushi. This roll is sweet and unique with an excellent flavor profile! Whatever the ponzu sauce was for our yellowtail appetizer was PHENOMENAL! I would get that again! I would definitely recommend this spot to sushi lovers and newbies!

Natalie needs to learn how service needs to be taken care of and train back on the terminal for orders. She did not introduce herself at the beginning. We were drinking water, when my friend, who is a top Google Review with only 11 million views, asked for more water. Natalie placed the water pitcher really loud on the table. I considered it the action of slamming the water down on the table. The cooks know how to cook the spring rolls, those were the only things I could eat without thinking about my poor service from Natalie. 6/10... She charged me $87 when I asked for the receipt. It changed to $80. When I asked about the charge, she was in the corner at a servers table so I couldnt reach her. There was a host that called for her. He came back and pointed in the corner and asked if She was out server without her name. As a staff I wish people said their name. When we reviewed the charges, she double charged the rice as well shareables of spring rolls (4) rather the personal sizes (2). The scary things is I was doing cash. So she COULD HAVE POCKETED THE CASH with COMPS AND VOIDS David may have needed to do with the night. David ended up giving me $16 back cash. David took care of ALL the comps. When we walked out she looked at my friend and was mockingly smile. I will NEVER GO BACK to Ra Sushi Bar Restaurant.

Donna was our server tonight and she took great care of both my girlfriend and I. Sushi is always one of her favorite dinners but its a bit difficult since I have an avocado allergy. I ve been meaning to write this review for some time and got reminded of it when again passing by the Addison area. If you want good sushi, don t come here. There are so many great sushi places in the DFW area. Most of their rolls are doused with very rich sauce, tastes like sriracha with spicy mayo, that covers the flavor of the fish. For me that is a red flag for low quality fish. My husband and I ordered 2 different things however they taste almost the same because of the sauce. If you want a roll that has so much sauce like this sure come here but please don t call it sushi. I was so put off by the experience here that nowadays when we go to a sushi restaurants we go for sashimi to really taste the quality of the fish. They make their rolls very pretty but thats all there is to it, pretty for low quality sushi.

Went there last night. The food was pretty good (the tuna nigiri was tasty, poke bowl was great, fried rice was good but a bit dry, and the spicy ribs were a bit underdone and fatty). However, two main things stood out to me. I have a severe anaphylactic allergy to dairy, and this restaurant doesn t have an online allergen pdf. Our waitress, Pepper, was very kind and friendly and checked on food allergens with the kitchen. She came to our table often throughout the meal and was a thoughtful host. The manager also came up to our table because he heard that I had an allergy to dairy and wanted to make sure the food was okay. This has happened a handful of times ever where the manager took time to make sure the food was safe. RA at this Addison location should be very proud of their staff. Blessings to yall.

Waitress Lilly rose at Ra Sushi Addison your attitude was nastier than the shirt you had on. At one point, she made an incredibly inappropriate comment, stating that we shouldnt come here if we didnt have enough tip money. This remark was not only rude but also highly disrespectful. Its unacceptable to make customers feel unwelcome or embarrassed, regardless of the tipping situation. Her frustration over tips was evident, but taking it out on customers is not the solution. Such behavior made an already disappointing service experience even worse. I hope management addresses this issue promptly to ensure a more respectful and welcoming atmosphere for all patrons in the future. Dining out should be enjoyable, and this encounter was anything but.

Came in it took about 12 minutes to get seen by a server. The ambience is very nice there is a inside and outside on the outside patio. You can also sit at the bar or the side tables on the patio. The food came out unusually fast. We ordered two different roll one was the viva something and I forgot tire name of the second (sorry) and a spring roll the food was like a 3.5 so I round it up to four stars nothing right home about but what I recommend the restaurant sure go try to try a different sushi roll.
