Well, from my experience from getting dinner here tonight 09/28/24, I ordered takeout rib eye steak with garlic mashed potatoes asparagus and extra side of spinach. When I got back to the hotel and started to eat I saw I had green beans not asparagus and mashed potatos were plain not garlic and to top it off came in cheap styrofoam awkward for a higher end restraunt.. its not the end of the world, but if someone is paying for the meal at least have the order right after repeating it back to me.. so either it was plain incompetency or total disregard of what the customer ordered either way bad customer service.. its my fault for not checking my order before I left, but the server could have done their job correctly, and I would have had the right order.. Other than that, the steak was cooked perfectly, and the spinach was delicious!

Came for drinks, dancing, and to celebrate a friends bday. Great service as we found seats at the bar. The waitstaff opened a table for the rest of our party to sit without prompting. Great place to people watch and have some adult fun.

Went on 8/31 to celebrate my husbands birthday and had a great experience. For appetizer, we got the crab cake and the beef/croissant item and both were excellent. My crab cake though only 1, was full of crab and plump. For dinner we got the sea bass and stuffed salmon. 10/10 on both dishes. The sorbet to cleanse palate was a nice addition as I have been to many fine dining places that do not offer this. The ambiance was different. I can appreciate that at times I felt I wasnt in Dallas but somewhere far away or in an older time. my one downer: It was a little slower service than what I like but one can think that the restaurant paces everything.

The atmosphere is great for a romantic date night. The steak was not the best. Ordered medium was more medium rare. The waiter was attentive but not very quick with getting a fresh cocktail. The first Old Fashioned was great. The second was not good. There is no consistency between bar tenders. The entertainment did not go with the ambiance of the dining room.

My friends, husband, and I came here during restaurant week. Three of us ordered from the restaurant week menu and one ordered from the regular menu. The restaurant week menu items were amazing since it s want I got. I got a crab cake and it was full of crab. Entree I got shrimp stuff crab and dessert I got to go because all the food took soo long to came out. My husband was the one that ordered from the regular menu for some reason his food came out first. His lobster bisque tasted a little funny to me, but the that calamari was amazing.

Nice relaxing place . The food was excellent, and the service was even better. You have multiple servers checking on you, keeping your drinks full, etc. But if youre not fun of being around people with to much alcohol consumption I dont think this the place I went in the evening with my young adult kids was a little bar feeling.

I love this club, but it s always too crowded on dance floor, most of time music is too loud, inside was too hot, some people even bring their drink dancing on dance floor, sometimes make floor so sticky, who respect the place will wear dance shoes to dance, but wet and sticky floor, ruin dance shoes. They should make rules, put a sign : no drink on dance floor. They can help to turn fan switch into down blowing, instead fan wind is blowing upwards ( it s for winter)

My family and I had the pleasure of visiting Arthurs for dinner and all of us were just amazed with the experience. From start to finish it was a wonderful meal with 5 star food, service and atmosphere. Open entering the restaurant we were warmly greeted immediately as we entered and shown to our table right away. The atmosphere is sophisticated and classy with a touch of casual. Our waiter greeted us right away and took our cocktail order. The cocktails were quickly made and brought to our table. The cocktails were excellent but what really impressed me was our waiter said to us that he would give us some time to get settled in, enjoy our cocktails and would be back in a few minutes with the appetizer and dinner menus. In many restaurants you are rushed to order dinner so they can get you in and out. Not here! We ordered appetizers and when we had finished eating them we ordered dinner. The appetizers and dinner items were all nicely presented and delicious. We shared calamari and bacon wrapped scallops. For dinner we had the medallions oscar, prime NY strip and the chicken fried lobster. We didnt talk much when dinner came - all were busy eating! This was our first visit to Arthurs and all of left being very impressed. I have to mention the service from our waiter was perfect and made the evening a pleasure. We will definitely visit Arthurs again.

Classy, Welcoming Elegance! Our first time here after many years of saying, We ought to try Arthur s someday. We did, and glad we did so, regretting we did not do this sooner. With the closing of Mercy Wine bar, finding an elegant setting with attentive, knowledgeable, and fun staff was going to be a big task to endeavor. This task can now be closed-out. What a treat! We were made to feel like the most important people from Maître D and our server Hamid to the other team members who helped serve, clear, and otherwise make our Arthur s experience flow seamlessly. Easy to find location with plenty of parking, including self and valet. Beautiful landscaping with the right mix of mulch, flowers, green shrubbery, and trees. You walk to the entrance where you have an option of using a traditional door or an older, beautiful wood revolving door. We opted for the revolving door. The small entry way opens up to a nice sized atrium that is well lit with a Maître D station. Behind the Maître D station is a dimly lit open dining area surrounded by smaller, intimate tables. Also available are quaint private room dining rooms, each with a luxurious red velvet curtain. You can close it, keep it open or find a happy medium. The decor in the dining room, with a large crystal chandelier as the centerpiece, remains simple, but elegant. Drawing from French and English themes, with a touch of Rome and Russia it works! Our evening began with iced water, fresh baked bread, and butter. We then ordered a bottle of Caymus Conundrum Red Blend, a budget friendly, delicious wine. If you want a very good upgrade, the Caymus Cabernet Sauvignon is a true winner. Next was the Jumbo Lump Crab Cake. There was no need to search for the lump crab in this crab cake. Truly delicious! Right amount of subtle white pepper spice, lemon, butter with generous amounts of crab. All of this pressed together and perfectly pan fried, then placed on top of homemade slaw and drizzled with a touch of Chardonnay sauce. This set this stage for our food experience. We made our way to the entrees! First was an 8oz. Filet Mignon, cooked medium rare, with garlic mashed and fresh asparagus as the sides. The steak was cooked perfectly and melted in your mouth. Hearty, flavorful mashed and tender, lightly spiced asparagus. Also enjoyed was the Pan Seared Fresh Gulf Red Snapper. Again, spiced and cooked on-point. Flaky, flavorful fish that was topped with freshly sauteed shrimp and mushrooms, served with mashed potatoes and French Green Beans as sides. Wonderful! Finally, we ended the eating portion of our evening with the Grand Marnier Crème Brûlée. For us, this was a new take on the traditional Crème Brûlée, and we enjoyed the hints of orange liquor. We think oven-baked vs. butane torch as we did not taste the butane thankfully. Nicely done! When we were done with our delicious meal and dessert, there was a small table already saved for us in the bar/dancing area. Hamid escorted us from the dining room to the bar area and gave us an update on the recent renovations and history of Arthur s. You will have to visit to get these details first-hand, unless, of course, you are an Arthurs Regular, which there appears to be quite a few. We carried our dinner wine glasses with us to savor the final sips and enjoy the live, energetic 2-piece band that was playing a very good selection of Yacht Rock tunes. Curious about the outside area, we took a peek and a seat on the outside patio. If it were not for the humidity and the great music coming from inside, we would have sat a bit longer outside. Visit Arthurs to celebrate a special occasion or simply treat yourself to classic treatment, delicious food, and truly good vibes. It s an epicenter of the joy of life joie de vie!

My date and I were seated in a private booth, which was a nice atmosphere. The food was good but the cocktails we were served were awful. The Manhattan I ordered was oddly watery, missing the bold flavors I typically expect of a Manhattan. My date got a negroni, but it was served with cubed ice which quickly melted and diluted the flavor. The bone-in ribeye I ordered was unremarkable, just a simple steak.

I honestly dont know how this place has this much rating. The whole restaurant smells horrible, from the minute we stepped in. Our server was great, she tried her best. But when we informed her about the smell, she acted like it doesnt exist. There is no way, an issue will be addressed without considering the customer concern. The place was beautiful, but nobody would want to have dinner in a place thats not clean or welcoming. The food was not that good too, they could do so much better. I will not go back to this restaurant.

It was such a great experience with good food. Our server was terrific. I hate I cant remember his name, but he took care of us. The drinks were good. Visiting my daughter who lives in Frisco and Was looking for a place to have a good dinner on our last evening in Dallas. The food was absolutely delicious, my steak was like butter. As good as the food was it paled in comparison to the outstanding service from the waitstaff!! We came her during Dallas restaurant week to try it out and we were not disappointed! As soon as we entered we were greeted and escorted to our table. The restaurant aesthetic is more of the old time steakhouse feel and the servers are like that too in which they re very attentive and treat your like a VIP. Not only do they have great steaks but their seafood is great too! Parking: Towards dinner time the parking lot fills up and you might have to park on the grass.

If you havent tried their signature champagne brie soup, trust me, it will CHANGE your life. I could drink bowls of that soup. Its so delicious, I use the sourdough rosemary bread to get every drop out of the bowl, its divine!! The crab stuffed salmon was delicious and the sauce is what makes the dish. Now that Belgian chocolate mouse with the fresh berries...OMG! THE RICHNESS OF THE CHOCOLATE AND THE FRESH FRUIT balances that. I was full but could not stop eating until every drop was gone. My husband and I went 2 weeks ago for DFW Restaurant Week. It was our first time and we will definitely be back!! Our food was absolutely delicious. I had the wedge salad appetizer, steak, asparagus and potato entree with tiramisu dessert. This well-known establishment did not disappoint. It had been years since we last visited. The food was delicious, and the posh decor was elegant but not pretentious. Dinner at Arther one night during our visit in Dallas. Love the vibe, the retro decor, dimmed and intimate dinning room. Very friendly staffs and delicious food. The Jumbo Lump Crab Cake was so tasty, and Champagne Brie Soup really delicious. Pretty good Prime Tenderloin of Beef and the Jumbo Lump Crab Meat Stuffed Grilled Norwegian Salmon was flavorful, but a bit salty. For dessert we tried Chocolate Mouse & Tiramisu which were okay. My wife and I went for the first time since they renovated the restaurant, love the new look but the food quality is has is surprisingly really bad for a steakhouse. We used to always go for dinner and used the love the high quality ingredients and food. For species, we ordered mini beef Wellington and crab cakes. Beef Wellington was way over cooked and very chewy with very little flavor. Crab cakes used to very good, what ever changes they made, it s also lacking in flavor. For entrees, my wife ordered grilled salmon salad. This was a terribly cooked salmon with again no flavor at all. Salmon was obviously frozen, very easy to tell by the texture and taste. I ordered a filet mignon that again had zero flavor or seasoning. The mashed potatoes and asparagus also has virtually no seasoning or flavor. Mashed potatoes also tasted frozen. Steak was so bad that I struggled to finish it. This was cooked medium rare, at least they got that part right. We used to like this restaurant, but after this experience and $150 for two people, it s safe to say that we would never go back again. For a steakhouse that s been around for over 75 years, lowering your food quality is something people will notice and not sustainable. People expect fresh ingredients, not frozen, and we ll seasoned food with flavor. Highly recommend to pass this place by

Thank you so much for making our 20 anniversary special. I was surprised with an anniversary dinner with family and friends. Arthurs helped my husband so much. If you are looking for a restaurant to host an event Arthurs is the place to go. We had a great dinner, food amazing, the service was amazing and the atmosphere was amazing. After dinner we danced and sang the night away on the dance floor with the live band. You now have a customer for LIFE. We can not wait to come back and dance the night away.

Went here on the Saturday before Mothers Days 2023 with a large group. Evening started out nice but did not end that way. Ordered the Snapper with Scallop Potatoes and Asparagus. It did not taste like Snapper, not sure what fish they gave me, which was dry and no flavor, no salt, no seasoning nothing. Everything was very bland. The service was not that great either. Took a very long time to get the food nearly an hour if not more. One waitress spilled butter on someone in my group and someones food was taken to the back because they wanted it to go but never brought it back until it was time to go--like an hour later. Should have just brought back a to go box. Plus when I left I had a couple of bags for Mothers days so I accidentally left my to go plate which they had to remake-because I was for sure that what I received was not Snapper. I had to go back to the restaurant not even 10 min and told this man--the so called manager that I left my food..He didnt even bother to check the back to see if they had put it to the side. He just told me..What do we want with your leftovers..VERY RUDE AND NOT MANAGER QUALITY AT ALL. I would not recommend this place. Food and service sucks. The music was the best part of the evening.

I went to Arthurs last night and unfortunately, it was a shell of its former glory. We went to the bar to order drinks. I had to ask the bartender for a bar menu. He provided the menu and took our order. A few minutes later our drinks were served. They had 3 bartenders on duty and none of them came up to us after the drinks were delivered to see if we needed anything else. We finished our drinks, paid our tab, and left. The service was not the most disappointing thing. The restaurant is very run down and now well kept. There are broken chairs, stains, grime, etc. It really felt more like a dive-bar than a fine dining restaurant. They had large display bottles of liquor above the bar. All of them were covered with years of dust and grime. They were right above our head and it was gross. I cant believe they cant even wipe them down once or twice a year. Seriously, buy a swiffer!

We went there for my parents 50 year anniversary and the food was amazing. The steak was so delicious, Ive had stakes in many places but none quite like this. The flavor was so amazingly it melted in your mouth so soft so tender wow the best steak Ive ever had in my life. Heard about this spot and decided to come for happy hour. The ambiance is very intimate, inviting with class. If you are not mature and grown, then this is not your space. A friend invited me to Arthur s for happy hour. We ended up also getting dinner here. I ordered a crab cake as well as chicken piccata. She also had a crab cake and a burger. All of our food came out quickly and was pretty good, but not remarkable. We sat at the bar and the bar tenders were pretty friendly. The ambiance and atmosphere was that of a classic steakhouse (dark, dim lighting, older customers) so not my preferred vibe. I probably won t be back but I enjoyed my meal.

So much opportunity to do well but this place was a dud. Sat quickly on time Given water right away 20 minutes to get a drink menu and 10 to order a bottle of wine = 30 before our first glass and it was not busy. Our server while working hard and not lazy had no desire to do anything beyond serve us our food. This was not a fine dining experience. He did not ask why we were there or obviously look at the notes from when I booked the reservation that it was for our 16th wedding anniversary. While other parties had celebrations for anniversary s and birthdays around us it made it worse. It took a very long time to order and even longer to receive our food on a not very busy evening. My wife was served the wrong side and two of mine were poor and the portions were incorrect (too small or too large). Her filet was not prime and was fair but my meal was cold. Nobody asked how it was and we paid $260 to be ignored on our anniversary with bad food. I would be very surprised if this restaurant lasts much longer with this service and food level. I won t get my evening back but we won t make that mistake again. You shouldn t either.

My husband & I had a spontaneous date night here. Walking in, I felt the vibe was a throw-back to what ritzy restaurants use to be. I actually liked it, different from the over-the-top trendy decor to stand out for IG photos that has taken over newer places. I really wanted to like this place, but sadly the food just failed me. I do want to mention that the staff was wonderful! Everyone was polite & attentive, this is why I struggle giving only two stars. To put it simply, the food reminded me of wedding food: bland, not fresh & slightly cold. My salad appetizer was wilted & tasted as if it passed its prime a few days ago. I order the filet (came with asparagus & mashed red potatoes) with a side of mushrooms. Nothing tasted seasoned or fresh to me. The mushrooms tasted like the little button mushrooms that came in a can when I was a kid. The consistency was definitely not fresh/quality mushrooms. The food was all slightly cold, like at a large event & 50 plates are made up at the same time, they try to keep it warm but they arent. It all just screamed wedding/hotel food to me. The reason Im leaving this review is because this place isnt cheap. If Im going to pay $200 for dinner, my expectation is that the quality of food matches the price tag. It definitely does not here. I was very disappointed. We dont do date nights at pricey places often, we deeply regret blowing our fun money on this dinner.

It was Valentines Day evening and my husband and I became unexpectedly free for dinner. Arthurs is one of our favorites so we thought wed take a chance. They welcomed us, was not condescending of our lack of plans, had us wait a few minutes and settled us into a booth in the bar area. Our Servers name was Sahara and she was extremely pleasant. We came in on a Friday nite and it was after 9pm. We just got married 2 weeks ago and actually went our initially to a concert downtown Dallas. The concert was boring so we came to Arthurs and it was a blast. Great music, great food and the energy and environment was great. My wife and I will be back. I have to share my experience here because we called on two separate occasions to book reservations for my 30th birthday. We called weeks in advance as one would do when reserving for a larger party. We were stunned when we got to the restaurant and they couldn t find our reservations mysteriously. I am unsure of what happened but how do you not have our reservations when we called twice? I ve been to plenty of steakhouses and have always booked ahead especially for large parties and this has never happened to me. Very strange. I really thought I would have a positive experience here as I was excited when I saw all the positive reviews. They stuck us at a small table where we were sitting on top of each other. Very horrible seating because whomever was supposed to write down our reservations couldn t find them. I must say I was very disappointed that our reservations were mysteriously lost and then we were treated like they didn t want to accommodate us after dropping the ball. I am saddened to say I will not be returning.

I highly recommend this restaurant if your looking for a real 3 course meal .Our waiter Richard was very attentive, the place is very up scale and very detailed in decor . I had the Filet mignon with lobster tail ,asparagus and potatoes ,which all were delicious and cooked to perfection the drinks were strong so be careful .All together the atmosphere is good the food is good they even had a live band on the other side of the restaurant ,but it wasn t too loud To where you couldn t enjoy your meal. Havent been in since the renovations, heard through friends of the change, came to check it out...the fish are gone and the wood has been painted over, the dance floor is gone also, the whole place closes at 10 n 11...the beautiful wood painted!! Over, dinner n service at the bar was good, they have a live singing (no Elton john tho, nor that regular band (erica clapton look alike they used to have) at the piano with a very small area for dancing, I enjoyed the dancing, 3 stars for the bar that consumes the space leftover from the remodel
