This is a fun place to grab a solid seafood boil. I ve been to Red Crab several times and I like it. I ve tried a few seafood boil spots around town and Red Crab is one of the better places. The boils are full of flavor and filling! Now one thing that really surprised me were the Garlic Noodles. Oh man! These are addictive . I ve ordered them each time that I ve eaten at Red Crab. I ve even taken some home and added sautéed bottom round to them and had a whole new delicious dish. As a garlic lover, I highly recommend that you try these. The bar is ok. Not a lot of variety but the seafood makes up for that .

I have only dined in once a while back, but I usually will go get to go order. When I call they take my info and pull up the history. All I have to do is say I want what I had previously and they get it done. Never had to go wait for my food. Always ready when I arrive.

This is the spot for seafood! I adore this place. The seafood is wonderful. The portions are huge. The service is excellent. Its always a good time. Great place for a date. Great place to take the family! They treat you right on your birthday. The drinks are strong! Ne sure to try the hurricane. It is phenomenal. The bartender was amazing. The host that was on duty on Friday evening at 8:45pm had no connection with us or the clients. Didn t guide us to the table , put the menus down and walked away without a word. I feel terrible for this person as she does not have guidance of herself as a human, and as a contributor to the restaurant . The food was ok and we enjoyed it.

My first time here was awesome. I can t say that at all about my second visit. I came during lunch hour, ordered the lunch shrimp basket. Pointed at it in the menu. When I got the check I was charged full price. The bartender (Asian female) was apologetic but did the same thing to the person right next to me. How are you unaware of your lunch prices?? I m asked if I got 8 or 6 shrimp. No idea. I just enjoyed my meal and didn t count my shrimp. Ridiculous to even ask. Apologetic but not willing to make it right. I won t be returning. Why do you guys even have a lunch menu if you re just gonna charge people dinner prices? I only came for 9.99 shrimp basket and was charged $16 for it. Disappointed to say the least.

DJ was unexpected but good selections of R&B and respectful and cool dude! But karaoke was not what I am generally looking for with diner. WTH? I must admit - overall folks were pretty damn good and I think if they were not He politely faded down and out the song early. But smoothly enough that he was not making anyone the fool! So good job there. The only real criticism is if you don t know the talent of the signer - then don t let them do Whitney or Chris Brown (or the like)! Come on nobody wants to hear a song we have already heard too many damn times by the GREAT artist. So if you don t know their skills - I don t want to find out they don t have the vocal range to bring Beyoncé! Tell them no or make them do a tryout song by a simi pop artist. They kill tell them bring on your Prince cover next set! And they don t well - good they did not ruin a song that is played too much in the first place. It is the 2020s and 80s Whitney the estate is set! But Bobby needs a few royalty checks. You know. lol? Parking: Just easy to not k ow how to enter it and there is no cross over from the canes!

Went here for the first time the other day & the service was terrible, She kept disappearing, lied to me about the bar not being able to make any other drinks besides whats on the menu , kept coming back being rude and slamming things on the table. assistant gm just apologized saying she s new and how she must of been overwhelmed from the night before but thats not my problem, she wasnt much help either just watched our table from afar after that My server was Katelyn wouldn t recommend. The food was ok but not worth the price . As a Bartender/Server myself i expected better . Seafood boil is OKAY, there is definitely better in the area at a better price! I would recommend Kickin Crab on Old Denton instead. Great food and great service there. The service here was terrible. We had a large party so 18% gratuity was already factored in which would be okay. However, Whitney, our waitress was terrible. Since she knew she was getting tipped regardless she just brought us our food and that was it. We had to yell/flag her down for refills on water and most of the time had to try multiple times before getting her attention. She walked Passed us multiple times and never checked in. We ended up having to get our own refills at the bar. Automatic gratuity is fine but they re taking advantage of that and providing terrible service. This girl made easily over $100 from our table and did the absolute bare minimum. She sure was quick to get to us when she saw our money though.

We ordered sack #2 with snow crab, shrimp, corn and potatoes, fully seasoned and medium spice level to share We also ordered Cajun fries, chicharron (pork rinds), and cheese sticks. The waiter, Effrain, forgot to bring our drinks, so we had to ask for them. He had already brought all of our appetizers and still didnt realize that he had never given us our drinks. I asked for unsweetened tea and he brought sweetened tea instead. I just drank it and didnt say anything, since he seemed to be having some difficulty already keeping things straight. I had asked for the house salad, but was told that the salad had gone bad. I really loved the corn on the cob, potatoes and shrimp. The fries were nicely seasoned. There was loud music playing which helped with the noise level in the room. It was very busy, being a Saturday night. I am not sure I would return due to the high prices of the seafood. Met some friends here for dinner. The 4 of us got the sack #9 and we ate till we couldnt possibly eat any more. It was an amazing amount of food. My favorites were the lobster tails, and the sausage... But thats not to say that everything that arrived at our table wasnt absolutely top notch. The seasoning and spice level was perfect in my opinion. The staff was very attentive with checking on us and refilling our drinks. The atmosphere was pretty chill. The bathrooms were clean. Not sure why this place is so highly rated, ordered Uber eats, food came so salty it was inedible and I love salty food so if I couldn t eat it someone who doesn t like salt would SUFFER. The Lobster tail was about three inches long, with nearly no meat About 9 shrimp, the smallest crab legs I ve ever seen two under cooked potatoes, seriously disappointed Not worth $70 when you get barely any food. Should have stuck to the usual spot boiling crab. Defiantly don t recommend ordering from here. I ordered on Uber eats the Cajun crab legs with shrimp. Price was reasonable. The crab was over steamed, making it hard to crack, the shrimp was like the store bought frozen ones but at least they were cleaning. **Update: they have fallen off sadly. Went today, seafood was cold. This is the 2nd time this has happened. With how quickly the seafood came out, Im not surprised. And I mean ice cold, but the boil liquid was hot, so it was confusing. The flavor was lacking seriously. Sweet tea and music were still great. Service was better than normal. Its unfortunate the food wasnt good.** Lots of seafood boil spots these days, so whats different about Red Crab? Cleanliness! The shrimp are deveined very well. Crawfish doesnt remind you why theyre called mudbugs. They have an amazingly flavored boil without excessive oil. We ate dinner here tonight for the 1st time, everything was awesome!! Big thanks to our server Cierra she was amazing from start to finish, she really went out of her way to ensure our visit was fantastic. The food was hot and fresh, the restaurant was clean and quiet. We ll definitely be back

This is me and my partners favorite restaurant. We come here at least 3 or 4 times a month. The service is always quick, even when they are extremely packed during dinner. Weve never had an issue with our order and we never leave with food still on our plate. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who enjoys crab boils or seafood of any kind. The 1/2lbs bag of black mussels and shrimp is my personal favorite and my partner loves the 1/2lbs shrimp and sausage bag. 10/10 recommend!

We were greeted by the host. The host had asked the server who was up and Jayaira seemed like she didn t even want to do it at all when the host asked her to The waiter Jayaira was very rude and unpleasant.. My wife asked her do you have a attitude I m confused on why your energy is off and the waitress said Nah do you we were just wanting to know was something going on because she wasn t friendly she came to our table and almost threw our drinks all on our table. She then dropped the napkins and said I m just gonna find someone else to take your order. Then proceeded to the waiter Bay Area and said someone needs to help those B**** very disrespectful ANYWAYS let me tell you Ms.Nasty sent the BEST. Drew is awesome personable and friendly. She was patient with us as we didn t know honestly what we wanted. She told us her favorites and kept coming to check on us. She even bagged our food up and made sure we had everything TO GO! Awesome service ! She def reps the brand of Red Crab VERY WELL and you can tell she loves what she does or she just loves people. Keep her PLEASE everytime I come back I want to have Drew as my waiter. AWESOME JOB DREW!

Disappointing Crab Experience I recently had the unfortunate experience of trying the crabs at Red Crab. To say that I was disappointed would be an understatement. The crabs were far from the succulent and flavorful seafood delicacies I had anticipated. I had looked forward to savoring the deliciousness that crabs are known for, but sadly, that was not the case at all.

Lucky find after a day of travel. The options to customize your flavors are amazing. I had the sausage medium Cajun which was fantastic. I followed with a Shrimp Po Boy. The shrimp were large and cooked perfectly. It was kinda slow in the restaurant but the team was all smiles and very helpful. The prices were fantastic.

I had to leave this review, I dinned in today at red crab with my husband. We got sat down by a very rude Asian lady, which I later found out was the manager. Waitress said her name is Amanda. mind blowing how an owner of a restaurant would have someone with an attitude like that as a manager. service was good. Our waitress was on time with everything. Food was delicious and no complaints s there.. I could see why many people left comments here about racism and horrible management. Had to scroll down and read some of the comments just to make sure I wasn t the only person that felt it. So sad. A great restaurant with amazing food to get reviews like this over management.

The food had good flavor, however, the service was mediocre. To make a long story short they left out shrimp and corn from my order and when I called to let them know, I was left on hold for a while and then was asked for my name and number so that the manager could call me back when they were free. I then asked if I could simply come back and grab my items that I paid for and they said that was fine to just bring my food with my receipt. The staff nor the manager never once apologized, but tried to lead me to believe that the reason the items were left out was because of what I ordered and how I ordered it. The proper response from a manager should ve included an apology and the missing items. Instead, I was led to believe that I didn t do something, right. Not to mention they did not look at my order thoroughly prior to coming to me with this lame explanation. No one asked for my name until after they told me I did not do something the correct way when ordering. This is not how you run a business! I would not hassle anyone for something as small & minuscule as two side items that don t even cost much but that wasn t the point. I am the customer and should ve been treated with more respect. I feel my intelligence was tested not to mention I paid for 1 pound of shrimp and half a pound of sausage. The menu never allowed me to pick two items as the menu item stated. So when I finally received all of my items, I m sure that some of my shrimp were removed as im led to believe the manager thought that I received too much food. It s never worth the fight but I just hope that in the future customer service will be better here. My friends have asked how the food was and I let them know that I did enjoy the flavor however, I would not be returning because of how I was treated. From one black woman to another, we must stop belittling each other and lift one another up. That was personal, and you know who you are.
