Oh my gosh, the little bar is cute and has magnificent cocktails. The food is off a food truck parked right beside but it is the BEST catfish I have ever had. Amazing and worth the visit.

Fries where good. Service is trash. Seen 10 people behind me get their food before me that where behind me in line. When I called the lady out that took my order, she gave me a whole lot of attitude. Made a killing and still managed to cop an attitude. By the time I got my food, I was ready to go. Lost my apetite.

The food is awesome! The menu is confusing. Be sure to ask for more napkins than they bring. They shorted us 1, the food requires more than 1, and there arent waitresses to bring you any. We went inside the Peacock to eat and it was miserably hot if you sit on the left side room off the main. No A/C. Cute place though.

My wife and I tried this place on a Sunday afternoon. Is this a bar that happens to serve food, but its specialty is drinks? Or is this a restaurant with an immense bar? If the former is true, it makes sense that the food is not impressive. But if the latter is the case, then I assume there is a problem in the kitchen. If you see this place from the outside, your expectations rise since it is aesthetically pleasant. The inside could be more enchanting but needs consultation from an interior designer. There were two other families in the dining room, yet it took 42 minutes for our food to arrive at our table. How long should it take to open a mixed salad bag from HEB and put it on the plate? On the other hand, two things were fantastic: The meat over the salad (which was on point) and the chicken sandwich bread. I would try this place again because it is not overpriced and we all deserve a second chance.

I would put money on the fact that the salad came out of a bag. The brisket Mac and cheese was ok but not great. We started with the pretzel bites and cheese and that was good. Definitely the star of the meal.

The service was great and our food selections were satisfying and as expected. We went fairly late in the evening and we didnt have a wait. The mac and cheese was very good. My only concern was accessibility. Im not sure if they had one on the opposite side of the building but the wheelchair ramp on the side we entered would definitely not be usable by the average user, it was very steep. So if you need an accessible entry you may have difficulty.

This place is amazing, I attended my girlfriends work Christmas party here and she has gluten issues, this restaurant went above and beyond and provided gluten free options specifically for her to enjoy her work party. Staff was amazing, food was amazing, and drinks were amazing, if you get the point this place is amazing. If you havent checked it out you are missing out. Thank you for making this such a great experience.

Stopped by and grabbed a bbq bacon burger special with sweet potato fries after seeing one of their post. Super impressed, excellent flavor and it came out looking just like the picture! Good service and friendly staff, highly recommended!

Appetizers are great and good start. Salsa with chips was so good. Jalapeno margarita has perfect bite, you will enjoy. The food is great next time Im trying a salad, and they have shiner holiday cheer!

I took my senior residents to Matera Bar & Grill for a lunch outing. We were greatly pleased! It is not always easy to find accessibility. Our server saw us pull up and offered to help us unload. He also held the door open for us coming and going. He was attentive and engaging. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience and will be back!

Today was my first time eating here and I was very surprised on how awesome the meatloaf was. When I go out to eat I don t have high expectations but the meatloaf and mashed potatoes were so good! It was a big serving too. Something I ll definitely come back for!! Awesome job Matera Bar and Grill!

Had dinner with a friend and stayed to enjoy live music. Fried green beans were delicious. I had the bacon wrapped quail w jalapeno as an entree with a side salad. Hubby and friend had the Cajun trio all food was on point! quail portion was a little smaller than I anticipated but it tasted delicious! Several cocktails were sampled and all were very good. I tested the general managers skill asking for a mocktail and she nailed it! She came up with a custom drink for me that I enjoyed thoroughly. We will be adding this place to our regular rotation.

Drinks were great! I had a spicy jalapeño vodka drink with tajin. He had an old fashioned. Mine was fabulous. His was good. We had a fried appetizer with pickles and quail. Very tasty. I had burnt ends beer Mac and cheese. It was creamy, sweet, cheesy deliciousness. He had fried fish and veggies and Cole slaw. It was pretty good. Live music. Good service. Will go back.

We went out for dinner here. Our server was great but the food wasn t very good in our opinion. We liked the drinks we ordered. Just found it to be a little expensive for the food quality. May go back later once they have been open for longer and try again. Parking: Limited parking. May need to drive around a little to find a spot.

We went to Metera for the first time for dinner. The place is lovely and staffs are really nice and give us welcoming vibe. We ordered mac & cheese bites, whiskey glaze salmon, drunken chicken, and funnel cake. Food taste absolutely delicious. The only problem we got is that chicken is too dark and some part of chicken breast is dry and taste bitter which I still be able to eat just expected the color and the juiciness match the picture they posted on their page and I thought the rest of the chicken gonna look the same anyway since they probably roasted it the together so I didnt ask for a replacement or anything. We love it overall and definitely gonna go there again.

Three of us and a baby. Very accomodating and service by Trent was awesome. On point with recommendations of items on the menu, appetizer of wings was great! Big, juicy wings here! No dissapointment! Our entrees were Monterey Chicken, Blackened Chicken Alfredo, Sirlion Sreak. All perfect! Sides were great....fresh cut fries, sweet potato fries and roasted corn. Great atmosphere~ (someone had reviewed it was like eating in a garage??) NOT. Nice decor, beautiful couches up at the front for waiting, ladies room decorated beautifully and outdoor seating with live entertainment. Nice bar area. All in all, a very good place to spend a Friday night family dinner! Kid-friendliness: Newborn baby with us and theyhad a sling for his carseat.

My husband and I ate there on a Saturday afternoon. He had a hamburger and I had a grilled chicken wrap. The wait staff was very nice and stayed on top of the orders. The atmosphere was nothing special. It feels like you re eating in someone s garage. I think more can be done for the decor. The food was average and a bit pricey for what they offer. I hope that this place will improve because it has potential and it is in a great location. Parking: The parking lot is small. Street parking is available with a little walk to the grill

So good! Our group ordered drinks, appetizers, entrees, and dessert. The Watermelon Sugar cocktail was refreshing, and the Lemondrop Martinis were yummy too. The Fried Green Beans .. these will be ordered every visit. So freakin good! My husband loved the loaded fries. For entrees I had the Whisky Glazed Salmon & asparagus - delish. My husband had the Cajun Chicken Pasta which he enjoyed. The other couple with us ordered the Cajun Sampler and the Filet. They both loved everything. Then we ordered the Funnel Cake Fries to split. So good, but I wish the raspberry and the chocolate were on the side instead of drizzled. Just personal preference. Trent was our waiter and he was super friendly and kept up with our drinks. We will definitely be back!

Excellent! GREAT service, very friendly and attentive. Good atmosphere with indoor and nice outdoor patio seating options. Delicious food! I had the Cajun Platter which was AMAZING! Included chargrilled oysters which Id never had and was impressed (theyre also an appetizer option) and deliciously seasoned catfish and shrimp; I added asparagus and was very pleased. My wife and daughter LOVED their mac and cheese. We also got fried green beans as an appetizer and OH MY GOODNESS! A plus too that theyre gluten free with a delicious onion based breading. Cant wait to go back and excited to see full- menu additions soon.
