If youre in the mood for some refreshing iced tea, youll definitely want to think twice before choosing chicken Express as your destination. I had high hopes for a quick pitstop to quench my thirst, but my experience turned into an excursion in patience that I wasn t quite prepared for. Upon pulling into the drive-through, I immediately noticed a small line. No problem, I thought, knowing that at popular spots, a little wait can sometimes be worth it. However, after what felt like an eternity of idling, a 30-minute wait became my reality as I watched the car in front of me slowly trickle through the ordering process. Around the 15-minute mark, I finally reached the speaker. After attempting to place my tea order, the system seemed totally unresponsive. Frustrated but hopeful, I decided to move forward to the window and order face-to-face its just tea, after all! To my dismay, when I reached the window, the staff seemed confused, asking if I d completed my order at the speaker. I explained the glitches I d encountered, expecting a friendly workaround, but to my dismay I was met with a disgruntled manager. I was informed that I needed to use the speaker next time because it messed up their que. I can completely understand for food orders but all I needed was tea. I was disappointed in the lack of customer service and the attitude of the employee. I left without my order since it was too much of a hassle for their system.

I had an issue with my chicken being undercooked. I called the restaurant but the manager was being rude and over talking me. I just hung up. I took the food back to the restaurant and he still was doing the same thing. He remade the order but the tenders was still under cooked. I wasn t going to argue with him. I just went to my car to plan lunch else were. Another manager came out and said she wanted to make it right. She was so nice but I didn t ask her name. She made it right. I don t know why the other manager was acting so defensive and rude but the lady that helped me was amazing! She went above and beyond.

The order was not correct, so I had to make a trip back to the restaurant to pick up missed items. The chicken was good, although the batter was missing on some of it. Biscuit was not very fresh. We got tenders, okra, and corn nuggets instead of a drink. The corn nuggets were missed on both orders. Most people get a drink and one side, so it was just an oversight, but I have had this happen before here.

Ran into an AWESOME employee today who was fast kind and helpful! I came in while they were busy amd ordered $80 worth of food. She took my order without flinching haha. Clean and cute Christmas decor. The employee went above and beyond and even helped me carry my order out to the car. All that food was done within 10 minutes!! Her name was Angela. Love this location.

I ordered the Catfish Basket and it was tasteless and tough on some parts. It did not taste like Catfish. It tasted like some other fish and there was a hint of shrimp taste.. The Coleslaw taste was very poor flavor and it felt like I was chewing rubber. I had tried this place once before. I am certain I will never go Back again. I can/will go to other places and get real good Catfish and Coleslaw. This meal was in no way worth the price I paid for it at all.

This is the second time I have been disappointed by chicken express. I thought maybe this location would be better but it wasnt. The food was so gross. I ordered the 4 piece tender and the chicken was old and it almost looked reheated. The fries were stale and the corn nuggets were the worst part. They got 2 stars for the customer service.

I showed up in the drive thru and there were 2 cars waiting at the window. I pulled up to the menu and had to wait over 5 minutes to get my order. I ordered a number 1 combo and number 1 dinner with the sides being 2 orders of cheesesticks and mashed potatoes. When I finally got my order ordered, I had to wait close to 20 minutes before I finally got it. When I got home, I seen the cheesesticks had hardly any cheese and it was burnt. The tenders were a little over cooked as well. I usually love eating here but I was really upset with how they were today.

I ordered the catfish basket and it was dry and tasted very bland and it was not even warm and seemed as though it was made the previous day. I was very disappointed about this. I decided that I will not buy their food anymore. I went over to Allsups on Hwy 351 and ordered their catfish basket and it was very good and tasty and hot. I really like their catfish and Allsups is very consistent in making good tasting catfish. I recommend it.
