Great park to let the kids play. There is a nice big climbing area, and they even have a walking/biking/running walkway around the whole park. There is also a splash pad that looks like its for the younger children. Not very big, but looks like a great time! We also saw some Prarie dogs! Will definitely visit this park again.

Love coming here. My only complaint is I wish the benches were covered by trees or something over them to block the sun. Its so hot and I dont want to sit in the sun! So I just sit in my car and relax to get away but I really wish I could sit outside and get some fresh air. I really wish Abilene had better parks where it feels like an oasis and I can just think. Hopefully a Botanical garden will come to Abilene. Playground: Pretty decent and kids enjoy themselves. Toilets: Not the cleanest Dog-friendliness: I believe dogs are allowed but leashed. I dont recall a dog park.

They also had options for big swings and small swings as well as different rides that you could push kids on. Another thing I appreciate iabout this park is that it had workout machines that you could use for free. It was also very clean looking. A lot of the elements of the playground encouraged imagination. There is also a nice walking trail around the park and shaded picnic table areas. I definitely recommend taking your child to the playground at this park or taking a walk on the trail.
